Bridges Reaches £150,000 Fundraising Target for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice

At Bridges, community always comes first – and we’re proud to share that we’ve reached an incredible milestone in our charity partnership with Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. Together, with the support of our amazing staff, clients and local community, we’ve raised £150,000 to help fund the hospice’s vital end-of-life care across Surrey and Hampshire.

A Partnership Built on Shared Purpose

We first partnered with Phyllis Tuckwell in 2016, not by launching a single event, but by beginning a significant and ongoing partnership with the hospice. This collaboration was built on a shared purpose – supporting patients with life-limiting conditions. For us, it aligned perfectly
with our commitment to families and homes, and for Phyllis Tuckwell, it connected directly to their “Home is where the heart is” initiatives, including their vital Hospice Care at Home service.

Since then, our partnership has grown from strength to strength. Through company wide initiatives, staff led challenges, the hospice at home cars and community events, we’ve now raised more than £150,000 to support this incredible cause.

“Since 2016, our partnership with Phyllis Tuckwell has never been about a one off campaign – it’s about
a shared purpose. Hitting £150,000 is a proud milestone, but more importantly it’s a springboard to help
even more families, including through Hospice Care at Home. I’m incredibly proud of our team and the
communities we serve.”

A Sweet Thank You from Phyllis Tuckwell

To mark this achievement, the team from Phyllis Tuckwell visited our offices in Aldershot, Ash Vale, Farnborough, Frimley, Fleet, Farnham and Camberley – and they didn’t come empty handed! Arriving with boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, they offered a sweet thank you to our teams for their dedication and fundraising efforts.

It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate together and reflect on the huge impact that every charity event, sponsored challenge and donation has had in reaching this milestone.

Making a Difference in Our Community

For over 30 years, Bridges Estate Agents has been proud to serve local communities across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. Supporting Phyllis Tuckwell is just one part of our wider commitment to give back and make a real difference in the community.

Every pound we raise helps the hospice provide specialist care to patients living with advanced or terminal illness, while also supporting their loved ones. Knowing our efforts directly contribute to this essential service makes every challenge and every event worthwhile.

Looking Ahead – A New Target Coming Soon

While £150,000 is an incredible achievement, this is just the beginning. We’ll soon be announcing our new fundraising target, and we’re already planning more events, more challenges and more ways to support Phyllis Tuckwell in the months ahead.

We’d like to thank everyone – our teams, clients and community – who has helped us reach this milestone. Together, we’ve shown just how powerful community fundraising can be, and we can’t wait to see what we can achieve next.
