Colder, darker evenings, hot chocolate and trying to avoid putting the heating on, Autumn is most definitely upon us!

What we are excited about this Autumn is that this year’s home decor trends seems to be a lot more understated than we’ve seen in the past and therefore easier to achieve if you are on a budget.

Some of the key trends are:

• Warm, earthy tones – think amber, brown and terracotta which create a handmade, cosier feel. Painting one wall in a warm shade will make a huge difference to your home.
• Layered texture in furniture and décor – cushions and blankets– think fuzzy (?? Fluffy ??) , soft, and shiny – putting these together adding a variety of textures will really lift your room.

• Social media is a great platform for inspiration. Interior designers, influencers and home improvers love sharing their home updates on TikTok, Instagram & Pinterest – all the best ideas are borrowed!
• Larger home stores can really get your brain working, take some time to have a look around the room set ups at Ikea and Dunelm – check out what you like and have a think about if you could put it together for less.
