Community Spirit in Action – £1,345 Raised for The Shots Foundation

At Bridges, we’ve always believed that property is about people first. And when our community comes together for a great cause, the results can be truly powerful.

That’s exactly what we saw with the recent Charity Shirt Auction, proudly sponsored by Bridges in partnership with Aldershot Town FC, raising funds for the incredible work carried out by the Shots Foundation.

From the moment bidding opened, the response from the local community was fantastic. Supporters, residents and businesses all got involved, competing for signed and match-worn shirts – each one a unique piece of Shots history.

£1,345 Raised – 100% to The Shots Foundation

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone who placed a bid, an incredible £1,345 has been raised – with every penny going directly to The Shots Foundation.

Where the Money Goes

Events like the Bridges Shirt Auction – alongside initiatives such as the Bridges Community Cup – play a vital role in supporting the Foundation’s work across the local area.

Funds raised help power meaningful projects including:

• Sight Loss Soccer – the only football activity in Hampshire dedicated to adults with sight loss
• The Foundation’s growing Schools Programme, reaching and inspiring young people across the community

The Bridges Community Cup itself is a standout example of this impact. By bringing local primary schools together to play at the EBB Stadium, it gives pupils the chance to step onto a professional pitch – something many will remember for years to come. These experiences go far beyond football, helping to build confidence, connection and lasting memories.
