Luke Hammond is a superb lettings agent. He was super friendly, communicative, knowledgeable and highly responsive. He listened to what I said I needed from a flat and found me a wonderfully beautiful property in the perfect location. He never hurried me or pressurised me into agreeing to something I wasn’t 100% happy with. He is an intelligent and professional young man. I want to say a huge heartfelt thank you to the team at Bridges for all of their help and ongoing support, with special mention to James MacPhee, Amy Furey, Nick Holmes and Hannah Kirby. A few months ago I put my property on the market for sale after a meeting with James MacPhee and they offered me a great service and price, they had found me a buyer within a matter of weeks. Between James and Amy they were super helpful in pushing the sale process along and even helped with managing the conveyancers on both sides, unfortunately on the week I was due to exchange the buyer pulled out (This was at no fault from anyone but the buyer themselves). Due to my personal circumstances and it generally being a stressful process this was devastating news as I needed to leave as soon as possible. That same day I phoned up James who completely sorted everything out for me (as well as listening to me having a rant for about half an hour!), he suggested I let out the property as an interim measure while he found another buyer and put me straight on the with Nick Holmes who is their Lettings Manager. Nick came round the following day and was great at walking me through everything I needed to do and offered me a great rate for their management of the letting, he had even already found me potential tenants, that very same day I had two viewings who both wanted to be tenants. The team at bridges (with a big shout out to Hannah) then helped me organise everything to get my flat into a rentable condition (i.e. EICR test, smoke alarms, Consent to Let etc.) and their speed at getting this organised was incredible. In the space of a day everything was done and they even managed to get a great result on the amount the tenant will pay which was way above the asking price. So to summarise in the space of 2 days, I went from losing a sale to now having a tenant signed up for 12 months all thanks to their amazing work. I would highly recommend working with the team at Bridges, they’re a lovely bunch of people who will support you all the way! Thank you again and looking forward to our continued work together.
